It is bedtime and Max is ready. He has drunk his milk, brushed his teeth, and is starting to say goodnight. He tells the fish, the spider, the box, and an assortment of others but he can't seem to find the moon to tell it. So he goes on an adventure which includes him climbing trees, stepping over sleeping dogs, and walking on rooftops all in an effort to tell the moon goodnight.
I have a toddler and one of the things we like to do before bedtime is to read a bedtime story. Usually this consists of "Going to Bed Book" by Sandra Boynton but while I was reading this, I knew it would be a perfect fit in our nightly routine. Max is an adorable protagonist (a cute little cat... what else could he be?) and his adventure to find the moon is fun, engaging, but even more appropriate, calming.
An excellent addition to the Max series, don't miss this one. You and your child will love it.
