Very cool premise, not at all what I thought.
That's how I describe this book and even after finishing it, I'm still not sure what's going on. Why?
BECAUSE ITS SO LONG!
Quite the long book made longer by a lot of unnecessary subplots and details. I'm not sure why the author wanted to stretch it out so much but essentially this is the story of three teenagers in New Mexico that discover a second ship (besides the one being studied at Roswell). They take it upon themselves to investigate the ship and some strange things start happening. They find themselves with some "abilities" they didn't have before.
Sounds cool doesn't it? And it is cool at its peaks but really drawn out at its valleys. I found myself not really caring too much at the end because I felt the story was just going in circles.
This is the first of three but I doubt I'll move on the The Second Book.
I love to read and to discuss books. My preferred genre is sci-fi but I like to read mostly anything.
