Spoiler alert: I'm a huge theme park junkie and one of my favorites has to be Universal Orlando. As stated before, I'm a huge Disney fan and can tell you the history of about every attraction in every park but the history of Universal Studios Orlando was lost on me. So when I saw this book advertised, I bought it.
To sum up the entire book, there were so many times when USO was about to be no more and what a tragedy that would've been. Sim really breathes life into the history of USO's greatest accomplishments and failures including its disastrous opening day. Another aspect that really intrigued me was how Disney's Hollywood Studios ripped off essentially all of USO's opening day attraction ideas. The book is written in chronological order which is why it succeeds. The writing flows so naturally that you feel like you're sitting down listening to someone explain it all to you.
Definitely recommend especially if you love MIB: Alien Attack! as much as me.
I love to read and to discuss books. My preferred genre is sci-fi but I like to read mostly anything.
