As the father of a toddler, I was excited to get my hands on this book and see what the experts say. My son will eat pretty much anything that you put in front of him: veggies, fruit, chocolate (oh how he loves chocolate), meats, and anything in between. I was anxious to see what this book would offer for me. After reading a good portion of the book, I realized this should be used more as a reference book than a book that you start on page 1 and work your way through. It discusses nutritional menus, recipes, medical conditions, treatments, and so much more that relate to your newborn, infant, or toddler. Separated by age, this book goes into details on what is and isn't normal for your child, also including great graphs from the WHO to use for reference. I see this book becoming a wonderful gift to get first time parents but my only complaint is that some of the menu recommendations seem a bit out of touch. It recommended me feed my son quinoa and baked fish for dinner. Personally, I just don't see that happening. But overall, great book that gives a world of information to parents.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
I love to read and to discuss books. My preferred genre is sci-fi but I like to read mostly anything.
